Hayley, I wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how great it was working with Erik Slayter. As you know, Erik was our landlord in Nipomo for 4 years. He had mentioned to me on one occasion that he was a Realtor® as well as a teacher (professor?) at Cal Poly. I took a mental note of this because I knew that my husband and I would be in the market for a home in the coming year. As a landlord, Erik was fair, honest and reliable. If he said he was going to do something, he did it and he did it promptly. These are the qualities we wanted in a Realtor® so it was an easy (and convenient) choice for us. When the home that we wanted purchase became available, Courtney showed it to us and we made an offer within hours of it being on the market. Comet Realty was the property manager for a rental I had last year and I had a wonderful experience with them during my tenancy. Any issues with the house were quickly addressed, and although, the house ended up being sold as our lease was expiring, they were very considerate to our privacy and made the move out process very easy. I recently rented a residential property from Comet Realty and it was the most professional experience I've ever had. The house was immaculate, and thorough directions were given for all of the ongoing maintenance, how to run the sprinkler timer, how the heating worked, etc. I felt very lucky to have found a place that was so well prepared for a tenant to move into (coming from a prior rental that was the opposite experience).
